Timiya Jackson is a DPS parent, education advocate, and community leader running for Denver School Board in District 4.
She brings over a decade of experience working across schools and youth- serving nonprofits to help students succeed- in and out of the classroom. From expanding college and career pathways, to improving access to mental health supports, Timiya has led with a deep commitment to equity, transparency, and real results.
She's focused on policies that reflect the voices and families and educators, and ensure students are prepared not just to graduate, but to thrive.

Every student deserves to feel physically, emotionally, and mentally safe at school. I'll fight for real safety plans, more mental health support, and inclusive environments where students and staff can focus on learning, not fear.

Students should leave school with more than a diploma; they deserve real skills, direction, and choices. I’ll push to strengthen literacy and math from the early grades on, expand learning beyond the classroom, and build pathways that prepare students for life after graduation.
